I think the video version should stay as true as possible to the authors original work. Once the decision to make the series has been made they could choose to lessen the impact of controversial scenes but their removal or drastic alteration is likely to impact the story being told, so I would not be in favour.You’re almost there

People’s faith should be respected no matter what. So Hindu’s are right to say it’s disrespectful. Even if author claim the event took place in a place of faith, it is terrible act of disrespect to make a film of it. Besides Netflix is indirectly supporting Islamic and Hindu wars between brothers and causing ongoing conflict between households. The last thing, the way the western nation and businesses are acting against the will of the people of faith isn’t right. Think they have this desire to make all religions be forced to tolerance and be disrespected as Christians.
