either petrol or hybrid, my current car is the first diesel i've owned, and it's terrible, the dpf filter clogs up regularly, and it's worse if i use the supermarket diesel that i used to use. i have to buy the more expensive premium fuel from shell or esso to stop it happening, and because of the start/stop short motoring i do for work it works out more expensive than a petrol. i would love an electric car, but due to having to park on the street, (we cannot have a driveway where i live), opposite our home a plug in fully electric is not feasible. i know a few people who have hybrids, and that sounds ideal
