One in five pedestrians becomes a victim of a car crash due to texting!
Every year about 270,000 pedestrians are killed around the world because of daydreaming and distraction while texting. The pedestrians who do not look left-to-right when crossing a road, are a major risk factor. Writing and texting is the most dangerous thing to get a pedestrian's attention, endangering their safety, especially when crossing a road, according to a new Canadian scientific study. The study shows that listening to music from headphones does not increase the risk of a pedestrian accident. The same goes for a phone conversation, while texting is clearly the most dangerous behavior.

  You cannot blame anybody but yourself, if you fall in a pot hole or trip on an uneven pavement if texting on your phone, and not keeping your eyes open !
