  It was recommended to me by a Jehovah's Witness, who fasted as part of his faith, but it never appealled to me. If my stomach indicates it needs filling, who am I to argue? :-)

  I started the 5.2 diet when it first came out in 2012 after I saw a program on tv. over a year I lost three stone/19kg. Four years ago my tests for diabetes, blood sugar and blood pressure all returned to just below average. So for me it worked fine.
