A chance to win one of five £5,000 jackpots is being offered at an English university, the University of Sussex, for double-vaccinated students. The institution hopes that the incentive will help drive up vaccination rates among young people. To make it fair, those who are exempt can also enter into the draw to claim the prize. It comes as ministers urge universities to be creative in efforts to boost uptake and Professor Adam Tickell, the vice-chancellor at Sussex, said the prize raffle was worth it if the numbers being vaccinated could be boosted even slightly.
"We know take-up among young people is patchy," he said. "We know they're not against the vaccine, they're just not getting round to it."

  bribing is a bad thing in the corporate world but no its fine in this situation, interesting.

  Other. I honestly have mixed feelings about this. I am all the way for vaccination and I'd rather want to see people understanding the concept of vaccinations. However, to 'bribe' is not such a bad idea, although I'd rather see 5 X 5000 GBP split up more among those who are vaccinated. They're still youngsters, each one would like a few bucks to buy that something extra, even if just a big yummy food.
