Mouth wash is essential especially to wake your mouth up and to rinse through any plaque you may have missed through brushing and flossing.

Great home made mouthwash is brewing thyme leaves. Highly antiseptic. Add around half teaspoon salt to 300ml and it'll last quite some time as well. The salt also has antiseptic qualities.
