I’m a homemaker, wife and lifelong Southerner. An avid reader, I especially enjoy historical Christian fiction and mysteries. My mom gave me a love of history and a great start on researching my family genealogy. I love visiting historical sites and keeping abreast of history in the making. God has blessed our nation with a diversity of majestic mountains and canyons, sparkling lakes, waterfalls and oceans, lush green forests and southwestern deserts and I enjoy visiting these areas and hope to travel more in the future. My faith in Christ is my passion and I daily seek to serve him more faithfully. Though I often fall short, I am eternally grateful for his forgiveness and love. God loves each of us and he’ll never give up on you wherever you are in your life if you’ll just open your heart to him. I pray for God’s blessings for each of you.

Hi Peggy, home and work order pretty much sums up what many of us are doing; go to work and go back home with not much else to do. In spite of the rather monotonous routine of late, I consider myself quite blessed to continue having good health with paychecks still coming in regularly. From what I've seen around here; most seem to take the social distancing thing seriously and all of us need to just be patient and hope the number of cases start declining very soon so we can get back to living normal again. Hope you continue to stay safe and healthy; have a good night! 1 day ago

Follow-up on the #Fools...before you wrote me I found this TolunaTeam and clicked on it (saw a post under the topics), but is that the only way one can get any information to and from them? I wish there was a better way, maybe under the column of Public Profile where there is a link to click on, something has to be better then to follow them!? Is it just me who is clueless of what is going on (I am thinking so!). Thanks once again for informing me....can I elect you to be in charge for this site?!! As a go-to-person....ha-ha-ha! 1 day ago

Hi Peggy, thanks for continued prayers for my mom. She is in so much pain. It's funny, I tried the link before I shared it with you and it worked. I just tried it now and I get the same message you did. So I copied and pasted it. Hope you like it♥ After the President’s news conference was over, one of the reporters made the observation that for the first time in our nation’s history we won’t be celebrating Easter. Well let me tell you one thing, he’s dead wrong. We might not celebrate what Easter has become in that there may be no new clothes bought for that Sunday. We might not hide and hunt eggs in mass quantities. We may not travel home to attend church with our family. We might not see some folks at our worship services that we haven’t seen since Christmas, but we’re going to Celebrate Easter. As a matter of fact, every Sunday is Easter Sunday. Every time we assemble for worship we celebrate the resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Pilate couldn’t kill Him and the grave couldn’t hold Him. You think the Coronavirus is going to stop Easter. More people this year will hear the gospel than any other Easter before. Easter is not just about special programs, although we will still have them at our church. It’s not about the trumpet call or the mass crowds. It’s the fact that we serve a living Savior who is still transforming lives today. Easter is not only about His resurrection, but our ability to rise with Him. Easter is about the hope of tomorrow and the gift of everlasting life. Yes indeed, we will celebrate. We’ll celebrate what God did for all of us at Calvary. How? By remembering Him. By loving Him. By worshipping Him. By praising Him. Easter for us is everyday. Let the celebration begin. Sing with me: I serve a risen Saviour, He's in the world today I know that He is living, whatever men may say I see His hand of mercy, I hear His voice of cheer And just the time I need Him He's always near He lives (He lives), He lives (He lives), Christ Jesus lives today He walks with me and talks with me Along life's narrow way He lives (He lives), He lives (He lives), Salvation to impart You ask me how I know He lives? He lives within my heart Yes, a FB friend said it so well and it so resonates with me that I just had to copy & pass along! Happy Easter my friends! 1 day ago
