Beanz meanz a fall -out with Tesco !

It has been announced that Kraft -Heinz have stopped supplying their products to Tesco , and that some items are already out of stock . Tesco say they won't pass on " unjustifiable " price increases , stating that there were alternatives - I wonder if they mean Tesco own brand ?
What do you think folks ? Will you be affected ?

This,if implemented long term, will be the biggest health benefit that Tesco has ever introduced.
Heinz products are all overpriced (someone has to pay the advertising) and over sweet to satisfy the market in the USA.

I buy Heinz sauces and will buy them where I can find them, and though it's not nice they will not be in Tesco, I do understand Heinz. If they occured higher costs in producing their products and the price goes up, they can't expect to sell it to their clients at the old price. Tesco stating they won't pass on the cost to their customers, then they can simply not pass it on to their customer and take the loss themselves. It has not occurred to Tesco that in order to keep competing with budget shops they will have to take the hit rather than their customers? You can't have it both ways. Either you pass it on to your customers or you make less profit. They choose to sulk and throw a tantrum. Heinz is right. If a can of soup goes up in price and I tell the shopkeeper I won't buy that soup unless I get it cheaper then I don't think the shopkeeper would agree to me either. Reply

We tend to avoid all Kraft/Heinz products ~ including Cadbury's ~ there are lots of other brands of beans/soups/chocolate; etc. ! Reply

Not at all Spartan as Heinz products are awful and I detest baked beans. Reply

I hear that Heinz make Tesco's own beans but use paste instead of fresh tomato instead. Reply
