Everything tastes of SALT

I hate going to the doctors and as it's Monday morning it's going to be busy , but last night after our meal, I had a drink and it tasted salty.
I changed the glass, and it was still the same. I had an orange and that tasted salty too.
I am now having a coffee and that's got a salt aftertaste.
My right ear has also been itching like mad and I keep putting oil into it, to try to ease it and after the floaters (I had them checked) my eye is still blurry.
I am falling apart.
I have neurological facial pain (20 years now) and now I am starting to wonder if it's all linked?
I know I have to go to the doctors as I have either hypochondria or I have something wrong with me.
Has anyone else had a salty taste from NOT salt?

I get the opposite. I get random sweet taste of things that shouldn't be sweet. Reply

Not sure what this is but contact your GP, a conversation won’t do any harm. Reply

If traditional medicine does not help you, you can take the optional one that is "natural"
Personally, I don't know much about these topics. Once they recommended eating marshmallows or marshmallows.
Try to eat some, see if it doesn't give you the sensation of salty anymore
Or maybe you have internal wounds...
Could you take grade blood?

Thankfully I have not suffered anything like that, best to get it checked out. Hopefully it can be sorted. Reply

There looks to be a thousand and one reasons why people experience a salty or metallic taste but getting it checked out is wise Jacqs. Reply
