Greens lemon pie filling

I used to use this all the time for a quick pie dave likes it. Sainsbury hasn't had any for a while , so I just looked on amazon. Its normally about 80 pence, amazon want almost £6 for it, what a rip off this is why I don't buy food from amazon they grossly over charge. Do you buy food from amazon?

I buy organic vinegar ( malt, cider, distilled, red and white wine) in 5 litre bottles that is far cheaper and more convenient than I can get it anywhere else.
I occasionally buy other food stuffs. I am very careful to only choose those with free delivery. I have bought some of their Morrisons groceries in the past when I can’t find something in the Co-op.

Never, I like to pick my food myself, which is another reason I do not shop on line and have it delivered, I've watched some of the store staff doing the shopping - not for me!!! Reply

I buy instant coffee as it is , or at least it was , a lot cheaper than at a supermarket. Reply

Amazon isn't just a retailer, as it also allows others to sell via its website/app. It is usually these other sellers that are attempting to rip off the unobservent shopper.
Like Minnie I also took a look on Amazon and found that you can buy from Morrisons (through Amazon) and get a pack for 60p.
.
I do buy via Amazon but I do it rarely and very, very carefully. :-)

I think you need to have another look. For instance this one:
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Greens-Lemon-Pie-Filling-pack/dp/B00ZA098SA
- has 6 packs with 2 sachets in each so that would give you 12 lemon meringues for £7.99.

All that stuff's just starch and flavouring, it calls for some DIY synthesis. Reply

I always make my own but what I have noticed is that for over a year now you cant get blamongue unless you get it from Amazon for an extortionate price Reply
