It was quite surprising to see this again . Some of the changes are down to technology , some to Covid , and a lot to attitude . There was no fear of mingling , and people watched , rather than record it on their phones ! It's a magical piece of fantasy street theatre , which left people smiling , and crying ! The children riding on her arm aren't swathed in safety gear , they're just enjoying themselves , like the good old days ! When they got drenched , nobody was offended , and even the police took it all in good part . It's quite sad to watch isn't it ?
