We're going to Mary land next week

So let Cuss know that if she sees an old bloke with brown hair & a white beard wearing sandals shorts & a T shirt being told what to do by a you get woman it may be me.
The last time we went the rain was horizontal on the first day & the beach had moved onto the promenade & into the town.
Several cafés & some shops were closed due to storm damage.

Nothing like a British seaside resort in the rain. Sitting in a cafe, eating vinegary fish and chips through a misted up window. Hastily bought poncho blowing all over the place. Maybe it will be fine and sunny for your visit, hope so. Reply

I will be looking out for you Barrie I will.be on the beach near the clock , not topless, and I won't be sitting as I can't get up again from ground level! I will be on a bus no 2 or no 10. I think I will sit on one of the free seats near the pier bandstand amusements. Reply

That's a really lovely wee town Marys in Barrie , enjoyed that wee vid ,sure I can near smell the seaweed of it , and a fresh sea breeze , similar to Portrush a place a lot of people head in NI , for a wee break away , am in a seaside , tourist town myself , but our beach is dire,
enjoy I am near sure I heard a heatwave is coming next week so good luck for you and the wife , ah will do you good both of you as there something about a sea walk or a walk on the beach that makes you feel good , hungry to though, so enjoy fish and chips as well, and plenty of ice cream x Reply

Yay !!! Mary is instantly recognisable - she'll be the lithe young lady with a sprightly gait on a mission to the post office loaded down with parcels and letters covered in plenty stamps to post off to exotic far away places. You can also head her off at the bus stop waiting for the #2 or #4 or #5, where she'll be surrounded by Tusco shopping bags :)). Reply
