Have you ever been convinced...?

Have you never been led to try a product by any of the videos on surveys ? Mostly fill in surveys which are of no interest to me but i did remember one when i saw this cake bar in the shops. We are trying to cut out treats but i really fancied a chocolate treat and thought this must be new and special -think again it's just another chocolate roll by another name. It is nothing like a 'brownie' and i dont know why it is called 'double choc'? Nothing firm to bite on, nothing new to taste just a super sweet chocolate sludge and Swiss roll type spongecake.
The size of these bars are tiny and that isnt obvious until you open the pack. What is the point of all this expensive advertising and market testing to launch the same old products?

I wish i had bought a bar of chocolate now and so glad i bought them on promotion at 99p in Lidl and not full price.

As an American with an attitude, I don't buy brownies.. I just can't morally bring myself to do it because all of the ones I've had over here have been rubbish. I've been here since 1995, and they've all disappointed. I make my own and they freeze perfectly well, so I can have one whenever I fancy. Being a stubborn critter, if it doesn't have nuts in it, it's just a flat chocolate cake. Reply

That's maybe why they have to advertise as the product itself holds little to no positive attributes or qualities Yvonne. Reply
