Sir David Attenborough

Quite possibly my most favourite person. What a wonderful man who has made such an impact in the world. I love watching everything he does (and probably have seen it all) . I find his voice so incredibly soothing that even when I am working I often put him on in the background. Not many of us can say we will have left such a wonderful legacy behind when we leave this world as he will.

I fully agree J , David Attenborough is certainly one of the most important and influential presenters and environmental activists of the past 60 years. It will be a very sad day when he passes that's for sure. I also admire the historian's Simon Schama and Michael Wood.

I very much like the man but I cannot watch his nature programmes,I find his voice really annoying and the sweeping orchestral music that the BBC insist on using as often as possible is quite dreadful.
He was fanatastic and natural when he visited the couple in Wiltshire who found a dinosaur in a quarry if only that could be the model for his nature ones.
