Meatloaf the Singer Has Died.

Just heard this on the news.He was 74 years old. I think most of Australia had his Bat Out Of Hell Album.I did and loved it.The younger generation, I am talking about our 16 year old female neighbour loves it, my kids love it. He was also Eddie in Rocky Horror Picture Show movie. He performed at the AFL Grand Final in 2011. His performance was terrible. I watched it.He was panned by the general public and critics. Love to see you replies.

Seen him perform at the Concert Hall in Perth way back when he made a come back after been ripped off my his is manager I think it was. One of the best performance I've ever seen A small venue and we sat middle 10 rows from the front. Best song was Heaven Can Wait with just him singing and Jim Steinman on the piano. I still get goose bumps now thinking about it. Thats what I remember him for not the one bad showing thats get shown.,

He was certainly one of a kind. As others have said th grand final was a shambles but unfortunately he did lose his voice in later years, I can't remember when we saw him last, in the 90s at the entertainment centre I believe, even then his voice was starting to struggle, such a shame for a performer who was a perfectionist. RIP big fella.

I loved Meat loaf and bought the album 'Bat Out of Hell'. I love Rocky Horror Picture Show, so sad when I read about it. I didn't know his real name was Marvel Lee Aday and changed it to Michael in 1984.

I just heard this too pags, so sad. I loved Bat Out of Hell. We saw him live in concert once and he was terrific. Shame he did the Grand Final though, what a disaster that was. RIP Mr Meat.
