Its National Popcorn Day

Today is National Popcorn Day. To celebrate I have decided to try and make some toffee popcorn (my favourite type). The recipe I am using is from BBC Good Food. What you need is:
50g popping corn
140g salted butter
140g light muscovado sugar

Method:
Put the popping corn in a lidded bowl and microwave for 2 to 3 mins on high.

Place into a big bowl and repeat four more times.

Melt the butter in a pan and add in the sugar. Heat gently until the sugar has dissolved. Pour the caramel over the popcorn and stir to coat.

Allow to cool and serve!
