Spellings suggestion
Closed

Everyday I help my kids with spellings as on Fridays they have a spelling test in primary school. Accurate spelling is an important part of the process of learning to write at primary school and the teachers put a lot of emphasis on this. I want my children to spell correctly. I encourage them to read a lot so their spellings can be better. I honestly think that good spelling facilitates communication. I would like to share a tip I read online to help improve spellings and have a go at spellings. I bought a packet of inexpensive mini wooden tiles for scrabble and I use them with my children. We use them and do some sort of competitions between ourselves. They learn correct spellings and have fun at the same time.

Great idea Anna! Do you think many of us have started to neglect the importance of proper spelling with the emergence of new technology and automatic spell checkers everywhere? :)
