Chocolate Tea Cakes

Have you tried these tea cakes? I've just opened a box of six and nibbled all the chocolate off first and then carefully nibbled the marsh mellow looking for the jammy middle there wasnt one :( oh the disappointment !

No, I have not tried these, but they sound tasty! That is a shame that there was no jam in the middle. Hopefully the next one that you eat will have the jam.

I refuse to buy them now - boyd tunnock is a tory voter and was against scottish independence. maybe giving my political views here but can't stand the company now

As a child in the early 50s my mother would buy me one as a treat when she took me shopping. They were called 'Munchmallows', were sold singly, and were very like today's Tunnock's Teacakes, both in consistency and wrapping (red on silver foil). I don't remember them having any jam inside, but then it was well over sixty years ago.

I could easily eat a whole box in one sitting :-). I don't remember them having jam in the middle :-) x
