Now if you are doing CPR, and the ambulance service is made aware you will most likely get an ambulance carrying one of these. It is a fully automated system that only stops long enough for a couple of inflations to be given. I have heard about them but never seen one in use, But a couple of our crews have seen them used when they were doing shifts for London, Or South East Ambulance services. It is very highly rated, and they have had more success with keeping people alive using it. This system does not mean that people should not learn CPR, but that they no longer should worry about having to keep going until they are exhausted. Isn't technology wonderful :-)

What do you think of this device ?

Hi Chris. My wife would seem to have a heart failure problem and we would seem to think this is very clever.
