This is a choir, the Charity I volunteer for, formed during the first lockdown. All the children the hospice deals with have life limiting illnesses, and some are having end of life care, they also run a bereavement support service. To say the charity has struggled through the pandemic would be accurate. The charity's HQ is on the outskirts of the town, and the townspeople are very supportive of it. At any time they are supporting about 750 children, and their families. They are hoping to keep providing support through 2022, and beyond. The song came about after One of the mothers heard it, then turned to a music therapist, Victoria, to ask if a choir was possible. As they say the rest is now history, the choir was masterminded by James Hawkins, after he was approached about what could be done. James previously produced The NHS Voices of Care Choir who sang on the number one hit single, ‘You’ll Never Walk Alone’, recorded by Captain Tom Moore and Michael Ball. I hope you enjoy the song, it is all in a good cause. The charity is hoping that they can raise £100,000 to give festive wishes to for children, and their families, who are facing the reality this may be their last Christmas together.

What do you think, a worthwhile cause ?
