Click and collect

Because it takes 20 minutes to get to the supermarket and Adrian not been very well we decided to click and collect, it may cost £5 to click and collect but we decided to get 2 weeks of shopping and it works out that we don't pay as we not getting petrol for 1 week, and another good thing is you don't go in shop and they put it in boot, do you think it's a good idea and do anyone else do this.

We do a weekly online shop at Asda and have it delivered Jo, very handy when Covid is knocking around.
Hope our Adrian is on the mend and feeling better today. xx

Hope Adrian is keeping better now. I don’t do click and collect as we are over an hour away from our nearest supermarket. Reply

Would you say that click and collect services offer value for money then? :) Reply

I prefer delivery , actually I'm just sitting here thinking about ordering from the Co-Op. the only time I've actually ordered click and collect was with Boots when there was a shortage of certain items in store. Iceland is quite good since I can shop instore and have it delivered at home , very handy when I shop for heavy things. Reply

I am happy doing my own shopping. I like to see what I am buying, have no issues with going in the store, and if I am going to the supermarket anyway, I see no point in paying extra. Reply

Never done it although most of the supermarkets offer it, I prefer to have it delivered for free (Waitrose) or at most I pay £1(Sainsburys).Would not pay £5 to go and collect it myself, that's ridiculous. Reply
