Sub-Standard?

I have my delivery preview from Morrisons today and of my 46 items ,many of which are multiples of same item ,i had just one substititution which was a bottle of squash.
Considering the negative reports in media about empty shelves, subs and shortages i think this is good going so well done to Morrisons online. The list includes margerine, meat, fresh vegetables and provisions and all have been fulfilled. I am not getting deliveries often now -maybe once a month but it is useful to have the fail safe in case of another lockdown so i am keeping up my £5 payment for a monthly pass.
How have your home deliveries been last couple of weeks?

I have my own very PERSONAL delivery service from Morrisons ~ the old Dragon brings home what we need in the way of luxury items ~ however, I go to Sainsbury's to buy the essentials ~ Brandy, Stilton, Pate, etc. Reply

Not too bad. I've just had the email receipt for my delivery later today & there are only 2 substitutions. Reply

We don't buy online Yvonne and our shelves in local supermarkets are getting very empty, so it is not the media stirring things up. It is real. Reply

I don't get home deliveries, Yvonne there were no slots available when I looked for one, so I went to the supermarket to get my groceries. I have been checking various shops since the rumblings of shortages started, and there has been no sign of empty shelves, or low stock levels. Like the team, I now think it was the media trying to drive some panic buying, to exacerbate any shortages, and so give them another story. Some media reporting over the last eighteen months has been disgusting, they have been stirring up public discontent to further their own ambitions.
.
Going back to the shortages, I easily picked up all I wanted last week, and from what I have seen this week there will be nor shortages. Digging deeper into the reports, the problem was mainly down to the number of lorry drivers isolating after getting told to by the NHS app.

I haven't been using online delivery much lately. When I used Amazon/ Morrisons most of the items were Morrisons own brand cheaper but still good quality I remember.
Last time I went to the shop, Home Bargains, there were plenty of empty shelves, bread , milk certain types of cheese no carrots, celery, bananas

Do you think a lot of the reports about food shortages were nothing but fear-mongering from the media? Reply
