Should I bother?

My sister has given me a full DVD set of 'The Crown' - cant think why as i dont enthuse about Royal Issues and i can find them boring. However a gift is a gift an maybe i should give it a chance
Firstly i cant stand Olivia Coleman and i think she looks to be a cross between Peppa Pig and Bugs Bunny lol sorry she may be a good actress but i cant get round her looks. I also dont think she looks anything like our Queen.
Second it's a lot of bother setting up the video player in lounge which i rarely use as i watch all my films on my laptop usually.

My sister insists 'it's nothing like you think it will be!' Hmmm I think it will be rather tedious..
How did you find it and I really want hard hitting honest critique in case I am about to waste my evening when i could be contemplating my navel? lol

Yes, definitely. I really couldn’t less about the royal family and my husband can’t stand Olivia, but we both really enjoyed it. Reply

It is one of the best dramas i have seen on Netflix. Clare Foy and Matt Smith especially in the earlier years and John Lithcoe as Churchill his was incredibly moving. Reply
