Do you manage to eat the recommended 5 portions of fruit or veg a day?

I find it harder now than last year because there doesn't seem to be the same choice of fruit/veg and I am getting fed up eating the same types again and again.

Yes, it’s really easy this time of year. More vegetables in the winter.

I have no problem eating plenty of fruit and veg. I love both, and never get bored of them. In the summer there are so many extra choices with salads too.

Not really sure because we don't always keep count ! Did you know that frozen and tins also count ? We have frozen strawberries, frozen sweet cherries, sprouts, peas, mixed veg, plus tins of mushy peas, petit pois, tinned tomatoes (both chopped and whole ) and probably others as well but can't be bothered at the moment to go downstairs to look !) We love fruit and veg and eat a lot of whatever we can get our hands on.

I usually manage 6 to 8 portions and I don't even think about it because I just love eating different fruits and veg. Try going to a farmer's market if there's one near you- often they have interesting and new fruit and vegetables. I recently bought some plantains and taro root from mine. And if you don't have one near you, remember that dried and tinned fruit count as well.

I just eat fresh food I dont worry about or listen to so called experts , there is no point eating GM food anyway all the life has been removed from it.

Easily, but I can't say the same for the rest of the household.
