Valentine’s Day is known as the day when one expresses their love to that special person. It is common for both men and women to participate and exchange gifts.

However, in Japan, Valentine’s Day plays out a bit differently. It's customary for just the women to give chocolates to the men in their lives. On 14th March, exactly a month later, the men repay the favour by celebrating the increasingly popular White Day.
