I supose this is really three questions.

We are at the end of a box of medjoul dates.
The questions are do you like dates, have you tried medjoul dates & do you think they are worth the price?
I think they are worth the extra but they do cost the same as some larger fruit.

I do like dates, I have tried medjool dates and I do not think they are worth the prices some places charge. I can see the attraction of them though, but I'll probably stick to the cheaper end of the date spectrum. :-)

Hubby likes the dates from Lidl, not sure what kind they are, but I find them very sweet, I used to love dates stuffed with unsalted nuts at Christmas when I was a child.

I love dates, including dates in fruit and nut bars. However, I usually get the pitted dried dates in the dried fruit section rather than in the fresh fruit section because they are cheaper, last longer and don't have a stone.

1. Yes, I like dates - one of the essential tastes of Xmas...
2. Yes, Medjool dates are much nicer, with a much finer flavour and texture...
3. So I do think they're worth the money. I always save a few for use in Date, Walnut & Marmalade tealoaf :)
