Yes, there were many covered bridges in Ohio, and when I was growing-up there, it was special to go to those areas occasionally to see them. I love covered bridges! Reply

As a kid we would do a forage to Vermont every fall.
Leaf peeping and buying maple products.
And part of that was crossing a covered bridge. ( I think in Manchester )

They sure do, when I was growing up there was one that looked a lot like this close to my home and we had so much fun playing on it, we were daredevils back then and thought nothing of jumping off the roof into the river below. It's a wonder we survived but no one ever got hurt seriously although we did get banged up occasionally. Reply
