when your prayers are answered

a friend at work who is still on furlough, although that may have switched to maternity leave at some point over the last few weeks, had worried the rest of us a bit after a couple of scans had shown that the baby wasnt growing

after her most recent one she was rushed into hospital yesterday to be induced

we wished her luck but i was sobbing on the phone to my mother later wondering what i was going to say to her if the worst had happened, im not usually that empathatic to be honest but it was an emotional day and i prayed that she and her third little girl would both be ok

this morning brings tears of joy and relief though as her new born, weighing in at 5lb 14 oz arrived alive and well at 8.40 pm yesterday evening

no name as yet but shell be going home soon to meet her two older sisters, happy days

That is good news . Now you know I believe in the power of prayer for the last 27 years it has been my go to in times of trouble . Recently my daughter's friend asked me to pray for her brother in law who had fallen 50 ft out of a tree he was working on ,on his property in Australia. He had broken almost every bone in his body this was about 7 weeks ago he is now on his feet walking with crutches I would say that is a miracle. Prayer works hun well done Reply
