Prom or rather non-prom
Closed

Had it not been for lockdown my youngest daughter would have been going to her end of GCSEs prom. As such events have been cancelled some of her friends are going to have a Zoom gathering. They have decided it is too much effort to dress-up so are planning to wear a sparkly top and jogging bottoms - classy, I think not. Fortunately due to the cancellation it has only cost me the £25 for the ticket but I think some parents had bought the dress. I can't say that I was sorry about the cancellation, especially as she and most of her friends are staying at the school to do their A-levels (her elder sister only had one prom having gone to the same school).
Have you had any events cancelled?

Just a few birthday meals out but they are postponed rather than cancelled...
