Nervous about public transport?

I had a phone call from my manager asking me if I would be alright about going back to work in a couple of weeks as I am in the vulnerable category because of my asthma/COPD.I know my store has all the safety precautions in place and would feel safe there but I am really worried about getting the bus to and from work everyday,I would of course wear a mask and gloves but my friend got a bus the other day and told me on the phone that there was no safety procedures and that it was very busy as we are in east London.Would you be nervous about using public transport? Or are you using it already? Anybody got some advice plz

If you are part of the shielded group who received a letter or text then you MUST remain shielded according to the 50 page document released by the Government. My advice to you would be stay home (+_+) Reply

If you don't feel safe and have a medical condition you should not be forced to go to work. Reply

if it was me I would say no - you have a duty of care to yourself..and they do to protect your health too! as for the buses I feel for all the people who have no other choice but to go on the tube and busy buses. ...some people still don't get the keeping away from others..I had it today..and unfortunately raised my voice at her!! I wish you well and take care. Reply
