Share your "mum hack" for 1,000 points!
Closed

If the pandemic has taught us anything, it's that parents are resourceful and clever when it comes to taking care of their kids and household. For Mother's Day, celebrate your mum's (or your own) resourcefulness by sharing a "mum hack" in the comments below.

Mum hacks are those time-saving or simple tricks that your mum does/did to make life a little bit easier. Maybe you have a special memory from your childhood, or perhaps it's something you personally do. For example, my mother keeps a bunch of rubber bands hooked to the fridge. If you ask her what they are for, she'll proudly explain that she uses them to stop eggs from rolling around the kitchen countertop!

Share your mum hack in the comments, and you could receive 1,000 bonus points! Points will be given to our favourite comments by 15th May.

We hope you and those special mother figures in your lives have a happy Mother's Day!

My mother would say, an elephant with its trunk pointing up facing the front door would bring the house good luck

rain bonnets are so compact that they can fit in a tiny handbag/pocket but are also extremely handy for keeping your hair lovely

Ask you kids questions rather than telling them the answers. Promotes a more active and reflective thinker! (Teacher)

Mum taught me to squash garlic cloves with a knife to make them easier to peel before mincing
