WELLNESS VISIT

I have not been to a doctor's office in a VERY long time. I was sure I had high blood pressure, sure she would find something drastically wrong with me. Well, yesterday, that changed, I had an appointment with my new doctor. She was AWESOME, and so far, so good on my health. My blood pressure was 122 over 68! Will let you know more later, as I have four appointments within the next 4 months: Bloodwork, Colonoscopy, GYN, and Mamogram. (Not looking forward to any of them).
Do you get a physical every year? Are wellness visits covered 100% under your insurance?

My primary doctor always sets up all my physicals, wellness appts and tests. I have numerous tests throughout the year. Everything is covered for me by Medicare and Medicare Supplemental Insurance. Your blood pressure was very good! Hope your other tests are all perfect! Reply

Mine are covered 100%. I usually get all kinds of yearly bloodwork, cholesterol, blood sugar all that good stuff. I had a mammogram recently and it was covered 100% as well even the 3D mammogram which they did warn me might not be paid for by my insurance. Reply

I know I don't like to be put under either. I remember when I had a colonoscopy I saw a nurse beside me and I woke being wheeled to the recovery room. Thank God there were no polyps. Reply

I don't get an actual physical, but A1C and blood pressure are monitored. I go to a doctor every six months because of diabetes, heart failure, and a few other things. Reply
