What do you think about the "click to pray" wearable Rosary?

The Vatican launches a "click to pray" wearable rosary with the goals to teach young people about the Catholicism.

It can be worn as a bracelet and is activated by making the sign of the cross.

When is it once activated, you can choose to pray the standard rosary, a contemplative rosary or a thematic rosar.

The rosary will be updated throughout the a free app of the same name, which allows access to an audio guide, exclusive images and personalised content about the praying of the Rosary.

Click to Pray' eRosary will track your progress of each prayer and keep a record of each rosary you complete.

I think that is good idea for those who wants to pray. It has a very nice design.

What do you think?
Do you know how to pray the Rosary?
Do you need this wearable Rosary?
Do you think that is good if the Church follows the technology?

Thank you.

Idiocy. If there really was an all powerful god somewhere, why would a muttered prayer of any kind or a bead be of any use or interest to it? Why would anyone need to repeat actions every week or day or few hours in order to get its attention if it was all knowing? Why would it need the moral support or praise or acknowledgement of a punty human if was the supreme being?
Time to agree that the god idea was a pagan way of explaining forces of nature, and rituals were superstition compounded over time by someone with OCD and someone else realising that people are more easily trained and controllable if they are made to do actions and say chants repetitively to stop them actually thinking. Like, put money on the plate now, we're all doing it, we do it at the same stage of the service at this time every week. Come back next week and put money in again.

For me personally it is a useful invention, my future husband is a Catholic and I will follow him. I'm really trying to learn the rosary, and such an invention would be very useful to me. I think it is very good for religion to keep up with technology. Reply
