Vegan pizzas are getting more popular but not many pizza restaurants have wide options in their menu.

Up to now, vegan options limited to a cheeseless pie, with tomato sauce and vegetables.

Pizza Hut decided to introduce vegan meat to its customers.

Changes to the menu will be tested this year in the US and in UK.

A product intended to replace meat in Pizza Hut would first and foremost have to taste good, not cause transport problems and not complicate the work of restaurant employees.

A recent survey by Numerator, a market research company, showed that 80 % Americans are willing to limit meat and replace it with a vegan counterpart. They are mainly caused by health reasons. In addition, 3/4 of respondents believe that limiting meat is healthier and better affects their well-being.
