I don't know if we are allowed to "advertise" on here - we have no connection at all with the place - but there is a very good webcam trained on a selection of bird feeders hanging from a tree in a garden in Bournemouth. If you go very slowly with your computer mouse, backwards, along the red line at the bottom of the picture, having first put it on full screen, it is possible to see up to FOUR squirrels stealing nuts (and fat). They aren't there all the time of course but seem often to be around at something like nine-ish in the morning. The address is www.cransley.co.uk/webcam

Getting in is one thing, but will it be able to get out again? The people living next door to the livery yard have a squirrel on a tree in their front garden. It's lovely to see the squirrels - only red ones here, of course - run up the side of the road, along the yard's front fence, into the couple's front garden, take a nutm then go back again. Sadly, though, not all drivers are careful about them. :(

Surely that's photoshopped!? Either that's a massive bird feeder or a very tiny squirrel....I've had a bird trapped in a peanut feeder once, I did manage to save it but I was terrified I might hurt it whilst trying to free it. Nightmare, I love me birdies but don't want em trapped in a feeder.
