My dad is the most amazing man who has opted to sacrifice his own professional career only to immigrate to Canada and work a mediocre job. He wanted my brother and I to be raised in a better learning environment. He does his best to provide for the family. He is also a wonderful husband to my mom and has never stopped loving her even when she has passed away 10 years ago. I guess the better question is what's not to love about my dad?

My dad always worked hard. Sometimes it paid off sometimes not so much. He is 89 now. Completely blind but still loves to tell jokes

My daddy-o :) Can honestly say I've never heard him raise his voice, anger is just not one of his emotions. He's kind to absolutely everyone, he sees you for who you are not who others think you are. He's loving and shows it so well you don't need to hear the words. He's involved gets down on the floor with you when your young, sits at the table with you as an adult and shows up to your events that mean the world to you. He cares not just about his own needs but the needs of anyone he passes by. He'll lend a hand, help you when you need it and is always willing to listen without passing judgement. He's hands down the No. 1 Dad!! There could not be any that compares....at least in my eyes. Love you Dad!

My father is a guy that was always committed to the family. He taught me that family is there for each other. He's a person who takes action, and that's why I feel he's inspiring. My Dad didn't go out and party even though he had kids when he was in his very early twenties. For me, it was important having my Dad around like that. My Dad is a good employee and people love having him in management because of his creative problem solving. Finally, he advocates for my mental health, even before mental health problems were socially acceptable.

My dad is truly my hero! He raised me with good values, was always by my side to give me advice and even when I got married and moved far away, he was always a phone call away if I needed anything. But above all that he has been by my mom’s side for the past 10 years as she was struggling with depression. My mom was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease and Dementia 4 years ago and my dad has never left her side, always supporting her and taking care of her. My mom is now in a in a nursing home and my dad still visits her everyday and brings her a little treat, feeds her by hand because she’s too weak to hold a spoon. He’s 78 years old and my mom is 77. He’s such a role model and I’m so poud of him!
