Should the voting age be lowered to 16?

Personally I think no. As an 18 year old I feel that as a 16 year old I was far less mature than I am now.

wel, im 15 and me and a few of my friends very interested in the election and have very strong opinions. however i am unsure if it should be lowered because lthough i would like the privilege to vote in this election i think most people my age are not and would therefore not vote seriously - when i was younger i wanted my mum to vote for the monster raving looney party purey because i loved their name!

No one minute they are to young to drink and drive they have no experience of work why do we want them to grow up so quick Labour only want to do it to get votes

No, I think the voting age should be left alone. People need to experience the real world before they can give an honest vote, otherwise they would end up voting the way their parents do, or voting the way their school advises them, so that puts a mockery on democracy. It is refreshing though to see a 19 year old who cares about voting, I hope you use yours wisely. welol done (and welcome to Toluna)
