Healthy meal options?

I'm hoping to start eating a lot more healthier, I would love to know everyone's favourite choices when it comes to eating healthier.

My favourite choices are Vegtable Soup, I could eat this everyday and it is so good for you.
I love steamed chicken, vegetables and rice. I like chicken wraps and pasta.

I like to make my portions smaller as I always tend to over eat.

What meals/foods do you eat when trying to eat healthier?

Have a fairly settled pattern of eating, avoid much in the way of fat, always have at least five a day fruit and veg and don't eat a lot of meat. It has seen my partner to a very healthy 85 so far so I think I will stick with it.

I will generally eat some Protein with some Vegetables of Choice or Some Salad. Home Made Vegetable Soup is very good for you. You can also adapt your favourite recipes to make them healthy its very easy to do. Good Luck with making the Healthy Food Choices.

With every meal you make just ask yourself if you can put more veg (or fruit) in it. Chuck a handful of spinach in a sauce or double the amount of carrots

Chicken or beef stir fry with a drop of sesame oil..a great way to lose weight and eat healthy for me.
Also stuffed peppers with quinoa and mushrooms, so many things you can eat and enjoy.

I have no option other than to eat healthy due to being a tupe 1 diabetic. I eat lots of salad and green vegetables and eat no high carbohydrate foods but lots of protein.

Also soup is the best. I LOVE homemade chicken/turkey soup in winter it's filling but low in calories and is healthy

Plenty of fresh fruit and veg and everything else in moderation. No way in hell i will ever give up any of the food i like i just eat less of it. Lowering your carb intake will help you lose weight but that does not mean cutting out potatoes and bread
