How is your summer garden doing?
Closed

After 13 days in June of about 100 degree days and now another 5 days of the same in July with little to no rain, my garden has taken a real hit. I got several squash in June and 2 tomatoes so far. Now the squash and everything else is doing absolutely nothing.

We've had loads of salad leaves - ground's too dry for slugs an snails - beetroots are coming on surprisingly well, and gooseberries and raspberries are ripening. tomatoes in the greenhouse are NOT thriving. They've got fruit on them, but the plants are tall and weedy,a nd there doesn't seem to be a lot of fruit. That's our freezer supply for the winter shot, then!
