Closed

i feel so very sorry for those people that have been flooded out,i saw the tv this morning and could not believe how many homes have been flooded some of them are insured and some are not,the point is that there is nothing you can do when you get floods of water coming into your home sand some how i dont think sand bags help or do you have any ideas what to do.

It's been really bad for some people, would take months to recover from something like that.

It's a terrible thing to see water flooding into your home and not being able to do anything about it

It is so tragic but I think that there is little you can do. Feel so lucky we dont have this problem where I live. Fed up with this dam weather

I don't know what you can do. It must be awful for people because there must always be the fear that it will happen again, especially as they say this sort of unpredictable weather is staying with us for months.

Being flooded must really be the worst thing to happen. I'm sure the smell never really goes.

If the flooding is ineviable for you all you can do really is move whatever you can into a room upstairs.

Really bad news and nothing could be done. I was up in Whalley and saw the damage theer at the weekend. Not great, as an understatement.
