As we are all in it together should we share this too?

The rich got richer over the last year, with the wealthiest 1,000 people in the UK now worth a record £414 billion.

We are told we are all in it together and must all share the debt burden so as the rich have got even richer during the last year, the wealthiest now have a total of £414bn betwen them. Among them are now 77 billionaires (There were 75 in 2011).

We are already sharing the debt, how about sharing some of this too?

In practice, it is always the opposite ... At each crisis, the rich are generally poor earn and lose ... Most of savings affects the poor always ...

The Australian experience is no different - we also have a useless minority government with no real solutions. If they lose to the conservatives later this year there will be more pain for the have-nots as their stated intention is an austerity program, the linchpin of which is slashing all forms of welfare and pensions to the bone.
Not a case of the rich getting richer and the poor getting poorer - more the latter and a real good kicking to go with it. Pray for us woncha.

it would be good, but we have to lo0k at it realistically, which won't happen. we have to remember that people have gained qualifications for the jobs they do and as hard as it may be what ever job you do that is what you are going to earn.
