Do you pray and if so where and when do you pray and who do you pray to? what do you say in your prayers and do you get answers to your prayers? I pray, and i believe we can pray anywhere, we don't need to be in a church. I pray to family members who have passed over and to my best friend who died of cancer. I also pray to the angels and my spirit guides and to a higher power. I ask for help with problems and for protection and guidance . I also pray for world peace and for those who are ill or grieving and those who haven't got enough food and shelter. i pray for the animal kngdom too. I feel my prayers are usually heard, and are often answered, sometimes surprisingly quickly. What are your thoughts, do you find praying is useful or not relevant in your life?
i think its very relevant to pray in these days. there is so much we dont know and cant control. Our governments dont really care about us, they all have their own agenda and we are just fodder in the battle. but i believe there is a God who is in ultimate control and has let us 'rule' ourselves to understand that we cannot get it right without Him.
I love ''Big Sur'', can' t remember which band brought it out ..and most Beach Boy songs, even sad ones like Dont Worry Baby, still have that lovely sunny sound that is such a feelgood factor that spans the decades...I also love Loveshack by the B52s, and the spangly guitar songs from bands like the Byrds, Mamas and Poppas,..and one that you just have to get up and dance to is Neighbourhood by wonderful Scouse band Space...and as cara says, Summer of 69, except i mean literally summer of 69, such good songs out that year..
