My partner has a job! After a year and a half of paying all the bills and rent alone - he's found somewhere! I cried for half an hour when I found out- I was sooo happy! Finally we can stop rowing over how little we have and just get by! I can afford a haircut now and maybe a new pair of shoes! I'm so proud of him and a lot let depressed - life is moving again!! Are you struggling with job hunting or do you have the world's best job? xxx
I sat thinking last night about life in general, sort of feeling sorry for myself because im skint. I came to realise, that i may not have much money, BUT i have 2 healthy beautiful kids, a roof over my head, a job and a very caring family. Do you feel happy with your life?
Ok, those of you with kids.... have they ever said that they hated you? Are your kids naughty? And, would you slap your kid? My boss and I were discussing this today and he has said his 12 year old regularly says she hates him when shes not getting her way!
My 6 year old once said she hated me when i was refused her something, she took a little tantrum and then said she hated me! I cried for about 10mins! That doesnt mean i now let her away with everything though! As for slapping, i dont unless its the extreme
Do you live with someone or know someone who has the most irritating way of doing something? My husband (bless 'im) made my dinner for when i got in from work. Lovely thought you may say and you would be right, but................. When I go into the kitchen he has used just about every pan, bowl, knife and plate that we have. That means the washing up is not just overflowing the sink, it is on the window sill too!! He also manages to spill food etc all over the floor and wipes it up with the tea towel. Am I being ungrateful? It seems more hard work when he does this "thoughtful act" as I am the one who has to clear all the mess up. Should I just put up and grit my teeth or tell him not to bother...............in a kind way of course :)
Every time I go in the kitchen I have to stick a spoon in the jar of peanut crunchy butter that is on my worktop. I am going to have to hide it or my diet will be ruined. Is there anything you just cannot resist even though you know you should not be having or doing it?
she called it onion juice ..get a large onion slice it up place in bowl and pour 1lb [500 grams] of brown sugar over leave covered in warm place for 24 hours ,take one tablespoon of liquid so relieve symptoms [a day] it sound yuk but is really sweet and honey like and us kids loved it which is more than can be said for shop bought cures....the sugar removes the acidity from the onion and the onion removes the calories from the sugar.
Personally, given the chance i would be off like a shot. wife, kids , pets the lot. my government are doing nothing for us, and the longer we stay the worse off we will get...moving abroad will give us prospects for employment and a better happier life. we hope that one day we will be able to return, but as we didnot contribute to the sorry stte of the country i dont see why we should suffer in aid of recovery.
hi i would like to get a puppy i have a 10 month old baby and only a small back garden. so i dont no what kind a dog to get. my boyfriends mum and dad have a border collie and they say that they are not that good with kids. could you help me out?
I have just come back from attending my sons Scout groups attempt at raising money for Sport Relief - seeing the kids running around having so much fun made me feel very nostalgic about my days in the Girls Brigade. I just wondered what memories you have of being in such groups and whether you think it benefits children?
