With so many presents to buy I started mine in april, money was going to be a bit tight this year so I thought I would start early and get it out of the way.
I am making presents this year (except for a couple!). And yes, I did start last week actually. I have made a whole batch of flavoured oils (basil, rosemary, chilli and garlic) which I have bottled. They just need to be decorated now and wrapped. I still have to make a few more: picture frames, wooden toys... I have plenty of time though.
Who will win Euro 2008, and are you really interested, and do you think there is too much coverage on the television now that none of our home countries of England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland are competing?
with england been knocked ot of this competition and all the other british teams ive got no interst in it to be honest with you,a crying shame that we did not qualify but thats life i love me football and hope my team sunderland do a bit better next season than this season,i fancy holland after there win against the world champions italy,i always like to see hoolland do well after england of course,i do think there is too much football on tv but it generates a lot of interest among the sports people of the world so really i cant see it changeing, with football been thr no1 sport in this country!,bye the way i may watch the final!
HI All!!! Not sure what the problems are (still) but everytime since last Thursday whenever i try and log on, i get error msgs. It was annoying at first but now, being Sunday, 4 days later, it has gone past annoying and is now downright irritating and frustrating. When i do manage to get into the site all i see is crap and spam!! Where are all the regulars gone? and where have all the newbies come from? I've no problem with newbies (probably still considered a newbie myself) but most opinions from them seem to be spam or crap as they haven't read the opinion properly, and If i'm lucky enough to get into a topic all i can only see is the first page of opinions and then i get the error msg if i try to look at further pages of the same topic. I don't know if i'll even be able to post this msg. Toluna have said on their blog that there would be problems for 48 hours but it's longer than that now. As for the irish site Toluna - what is the story with that? When i enter my login details it then tells me that the page i am looking for has been removed?!!!!!! I have put the minimum amount of words for this opinion as 40 so hopefully it will put off any spammers etc from replying to it!! Hope everyone is having a lovely weekend. The weather here is fabulous and it is our Bank Holiday weekend xxxxx p.s i'm having serious withdrawl systems from not having my daily chats with you all xxx
I'm having some of the same problems with this site. I think we probably need to let the site's team know, as it seems after Toluna went down for maintenance some of the sections or pages of this site are still not accessible. As you have mentioned, I can also not get past the first few pages of a topic sometimes, before getting the "site is down for maintenance" error. Also, if I try to use the "Invite a friend" page, I get this error when clicking send: "We're sorry, an error has occurred with your request. Please click here to return to our home page. Thank you."
