A lady in my son's school has 11 children and another on the way so yes that makes 12 she is on benefit and her oldest child is 16 and youngest is 1 but yet she wants to carry on.I work and i hve 3 children i do 42 hours a week and pay tax why the H**L should she be able to have so many and not work i think the government should have a strict number on the amount of kids you can have and stay on benefit. I worked hard up 2, two weeks before all my children were born i think the government is being too kind to those who for no reason at all dont get off their arses and go to work
Personally I think the goverment should have a lot more rules about people on benefits, I am not from this country and where I come from if you dont work you have no income and that is a hard life. People have it very easy here and it is robbing hardworking people of their money and it gives young people the right to make lame excuses for not working. Seriously why work if you can sit at home and live of sombody(goverment)else. Having children and not teach them the value of selfworth by not working is just wrong. Although if you can support 12 then go ahead but you would devenately need a couple of millions for that.NOT BENEFITS
Is it right that all asylum seekers get a fully furnished house and are free of all bills forever? Yes you heard me right they get everything free. No council tax, gas, electric, insurances the works. They even get free food and clothing vouchers. A CAR UP TO £3000. AND MUCH MORE. WHY DO WE PAY OURS WHEN THEY ALL GET IT FREE.
No my husband works up to 60hrs a week and we get taxed for everything plus more we are a family of 4 and we bearly have enough money for food shopping (£30 per week) once all our bills are paid just to make sure they are comfortable send them back and look after our own
Should the government restrict what people spend benifits on. Would this be an infringement on human rights. I do believe that there should be some sort of voucher system for say food. however some people smoke some drink some have a car we all have a right to choose. Some people are in a situation through no fault of their own like when the rover closed i saw the effect of that on the workers they just wanted to work, some are just plain silly with their finances and spend more that they have, the point system in the banks now is quite good but not totally effective because i keep a good eye on what i spend and don't incure bank charges i was offered recently a credit card with eight thousand pounds on it i only earn about four thousand a year so that is a silly move on the banks part, but i had a choice whether i accepted it or not. The banks need to be more choosy and the government need to get the benifit system under control
I was at a Tesco's post office queue just before christmas waiting behind a Somali family who were being served. He spoke no english, hers was passable but the conversation went thus: "My child needs clothes; where can I get?" Staff: "Ive just given you a voucher for 250.00 which you can change here or any other shop. here is a voucher for 200.00 for food. You can shop in store and just give them this voucher." Woman: "My husband needs car for job.His english is not so good. he will get lost on train. Can I get voucher for taxi or car?" Staff" "This voucher here is for 3,000.00. Take it to this garage and they will exchange it for the car that you want. OK!" The transaction was quite loud and by this time the 15 or so waiting public were getting very.very agitated and ready to lynch this couple. Security was called after 'tattoo man' started effing and blinding and stirring up the queue. Security begged for calm sayng "Its not Tesco, its the government's policy. You must complain to the government, not tesco." I know from elating that story to my localMP that sadly, immigrants get preferential treatment as under the Human Rights laws decreed by the EU, their needs come first. We, the british public dont seem to have the right to choose Im afraid.
