OK I'm being suckered into buying this stuff (sometimes paying a fortune for it) and am struggling to see any results. I would like to think that there is a magic cream, but I don't think there is. Why do we buy these products when deep down we know they don't do what they say on the box?
I think they Protect your skin from the elements and the drying effect of indoor heating ,also I'm a firm believer in nourishing your skin from the inside /outside and drinking plenty of water,I feel these factors all put together, constitute for younger healthier skin

I am realy against animal testing for the purpose of making cosmetics for example there are many famous band names such as maxfactor, rimmell and a company called proctor and gamble the only company i know who is aganst animal testing is the body shop i think the only way animal testing will be band is if the public stop meeting the demand of animal testing brands. i always now think when i buy cosmetics and hairecare products i try to buy against animal testing brands this is shown on the packaging as a little rabbit and it says against animal testing i am not completley sure but i think superdrug products are against animal testing. when you think of animal testing you think of mice, rats and primates but it also happens to dometic animals such as cats, dogs and gunni pigs so when you buy your products think of the CREATURES
I agree wirh you - it is heartbreaking to think of any creatures but particularly dogs, cats and rabbits being used to test cosmetics and toiletries. have you ever got soap or shampoo in your eyes when you are in the bath or shower? it is so painful and you reach blindly for a towel to wipe it away as quickly as possible. Well this happens to animals but they cannot wipe it away, nor get away whatever is being done to them. They have to suffer in silence.
I currently use a product call Aloe Propolis Creme by Forever (www.aloeraggett.net) and it is amazing for very dry skin, non greasy and smells lovely. My mother-in-law has tried it for eczema and it worked wonders. This product is a tad pricey at £18 (does last though) I just wondered if anyone could reccommend something less expensive that does a similar job?
