I keep seeing pictures of this girl in every paper, on the tv and even online. The woman is obviously in a real bad mess at this present time and although I do think that she is not safe to be out in public and that she can cause harm to herself and others, I do not think the media help with the situation. I think it is very sad to see some one who is obviously quite talented go to waste!! The same with Britney the Media have almost killed the girl . .as if life wasn’t bad enough for her at that stage the media was showing the world her weaknesses and lows. Just wondered if any one else had any different opinions on how the media have power to portray things in a certain light. Like the latest picture I saw she had walked into a lamppost when drunk!!! Is it just me or do normal people do that on occasion when they are out on the town!!!
I love music, I listen to many different genres, and over the years my tastes have broadened dramatically, from the pretentious period in my late teens when I refused to listen to anything recorded after 1977 to nowadays, where I'll often be found rocking a Herbie Hancock album after a hefty slab of Norwegian black metal. I think my musical palate is fairly cultured, I tend to go for lyrics based stuff mostly (Although there is a fair bit of jazz I am growing to appreciate), and anything intelligent or slightly different will generally catch my ear. At the moment I adore Sonic Youth , Throbbing Gristle, John Coltrane, Melvins, Laura Veirs, Mastodon, Killing JOke, Modest Mouse, Prinzhorn Dance School and LCD SOundsystem. Constant favourites are Neil Young, Queens of the Stone Age and Black Sabbath - you can't go wrong with a bit of Ozzy every now and then. Doom forever doomy!
