Does anyone prefer a program that is a spin-off compared to the original? Progammes like Torchwood from Dr Who, Spooks: code9 from Spooks, Angel from Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Can you think of more examples? And have they ever been more successful than the original?
I reckon that CSI:NY is the best of the CSI franchise. Torchwood and Sarah-Jane Adventures are at least as good as Doctor Who, I prefer watching DW, because it's not as dark and stressful as Torchwood or as childish as SJA, but in terms of ageneral feel, I prefer writing and dreaming Torchwood, it's just a better team dynamic to deal with
