Bit like reading the book - when I read it years ago in my teens couldn't put it down, then read it again a few years later, but probably won't read it a third time as it's so long and never quite the same when you already know what's gonna happen next. The films were great considering the story's so long, they had a lot to cover and the acting/special effects were brill but doubt we'd sit through them all again or at least not till we're wheeled up to the tv in the nursing home lounge and it's on so we have no choice! Read The Hobbit so long ago I've forgotten the ending so if they make that into a film, think they are going to, will see if it jogs my memory, something about a dragon, gollum and bilbo? - think LOTR was a better book.
I think Medium is a great show. Personally, I thought it was not going to do much good... being how there is many supernatural shows nowadays. I thought it was just another show begging Missing but it has proved me wrong. Medium sort of stands on it's own out there. I have really grown to love Medium and am truely looking forward to the next Season (I live in the United Kingdom and I think we are on the third or fourth season!)
