Yes, I think quite a few people do care. Amy is a very talented young woman who finds it impossible to cope with the pressures associated with fame and fortune. And she's far from unusual in this is she? You just have to think of talents like George Best, Paul Gascoigne, Britney Spears etc. They get built up and pursued by the media who then take great delight recounting their every indiscretion and we wallow in every moment of it. It's all rather sad really.
This is a player whos off the field problems have out shone his talent on it. As well as being a player of immense skill, talent and passion for the game, was a bit of a cheeky chappy. I wish some of his cheekiness still existed in the game through other players. It would bring a bit more fun back into the game, instead of all the talks of sackings, loses and how everything is going down hill. I was lucky enough to watch him on a number of occassions and the whole crowd would appreciate him and always cheer when his name was read out.
